Critical illness insurance – two short...

I have written about critcal illness cover many times and I am a big believer is protecting yourself as as you never know what is around the corner.

Being seriously ill, whether you get cancer, have a heart attack or a stroke, or one of the many other illnesses covered, can financially derail your life, your plans, and lead to  major difficulties in supporting your family.

In this article i just want to give you some facts and general information in visual form.

This first clip is an explanation of what critical illness policy does and some statistics about illness and claims.

Organising a term plan that provides a cash lump sum during your working life does not have to be expensive. You can include life insurance at no additional cost and relax knowing that your liabilities will be covered and more.

Omnicare is a sophisticiated plan and as such it has a higher starting price than simpler term plans that pay out once in the event of a critical illness claim.

There are options depending on your specific needs and your budget.

Let’s be realistic. The price matters. Not everyone is in a position to pay to have the most comprehensive plans but the simpler policies will often be enough and having any critical illness or life insurance policy is better than none at all.

My role is  to ensure that you are protected and there is a good reason why I am an Independent Financial Advicer and never use the term “wealth manager”.  I provide genuine advice to anyone that needs it and you don’t need to be wealthy to be a client.

Most of my clients are just normal people and I want everyone to take all the right steps, to be protected now, and to plan for the future.

That’s why the right advice – for you – matters. There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to financial planning so let’s discuss the options that are right for your particular circumstances.

I know of multiple cases where someone in the UAE has been very seriously ill but did not have any critical illness cover. People in their 30s and 40s with young children. They have not died but are too ill to work, income has stopped, and now the families are in financial difficulties.

A GoFundMe page is not a replacement  for proper insurance.
